The book is basically a recipe bookwhich has recipes one can cook without a crock pot. There are no statistics to back up weight loss with these recipes. It also lacks the basic statistics such as calories, protein Etc. To me, it seems most of these recipes or versions of them can be found in other books.
Love this cookbook! It's exactly what you'd expect - healthy, easy, slow cooker meals. Makes eating healthy so easy! Highly recommend.
Very good recipes in here. Some of the recipes are just putting things into the crock pot to heat up like a dip or something that doesn't even need to be cooked so that was disappointing.
